Registration

I don't have a credit card; how do I register?

Please contact the person responsible for paying your registration fees. They will need to register for you or apply for a payment token if they are paying for five or more individuals.

How do I reset my login or password?

Registration does not require a login. If you are having trouble logging in to your MHSRS account, please visit https://mhsrs.amedd.army.mil/SitePages/PR.aspx for assistance.

What is a token?

Tokens are unique codes issued by the MHSRS badge registration manager for groups of five or more individuals.

I need to pay for a group of individuals, and I don’t want to give them my credit card number. What do I do?

1. Either apply and distribute a token (see Registration Information) or; 2. Register all group members yourself and send the individuals their registration confirmations.

I am retired. What is my registration fee?

If a federal government does not currently employ you, your fee is $650 for the full symposium or $435 for one day.

How do I change my registration?

Click on 'Changes' in your registration confirmation email or click on 'Register' on the navigation bar and then click on 'Change an Existing Registration'.

What if I need to cancel my registration to MHSRS?

Registrants who are unable to attend may substitute another person. In the event no substitution can be made, a refund will be issued minus a $50 processing fee through 31 July. Requests received after 31 July as well as paid registrants who fail to send a substitute or do not attend the conference forfeit their entire registration fee.

What is a CAC card?

The Common Access Card (CAC) is the standard ID card for active uniformed service personnel, Selected Reserve members, Department of Defense civilian employees and eligible contractor personnel. It is the primary card used to grant physical access to installations, buildings and controlled spaces, and logical access to Department of Defense computer networks and systems. You must present an appropriate CAC card when you check in to registration and the hotel to validate a government rate.

Do I need a CAC card to attend MHSRS?

A CAC card is not required to attend. MHSRS requires specific types of CAC cards to qualify for the $450 rate and per diem rates for the hotel, but any government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc) is acceptable to check-in and pick up your badge if you are registering at the $650 rate.

Do I get a discount if I attend a CME course while at the conference?

There are no discounts for those seeking CME credit. All attendees must register and pay the published rates.

Do presenters have to pay for registration, or do they get a complimentary badge?

All presenters must register and pay the published rates.

Hotels/Shuttles

Where can I find the link to hotel reservations?

The link to hotel reservations will be in the registration (badge) confirmation email. You will not receive the link until your registration is submitted with payment.

How do I change my hotel reservation?

To modify your registration, click on the link in your confirmation email. The hotel does not accept telephone calls. Deposits will be taken on August 5, 2019, for all reservations. Please note: The Gaylord cancellation policy requires guests to cancel their room three (3) days prior to arrival for a full refund.

What hotels will provide shuttle service to the Gaylord?

Morning and evening shuttle services will be provided between the Marriott Village properties which include the Marriott Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, and the Spring Hill Suites. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes; travel time is between 15 – 25 minutes. Sunday: 1330-1930 Monday: 0530-0900 and 1700-2200 Tuesday: 0530-0900 and 1700-2200 Wednesday: 0530-0900 and 1700-1900 Thursday: 0530-0900 and 1200-1600

General/Planning

Will there be meals provided at this year’s conference?

Yes, breakfast and lunch will be provided daily, Monday – Thursday, with a box lunch on the last day.

How do I find the agenda? Can I get a printable copy of it?

The full (printable) agenda can be accessed on the MHSRS website under 'About MHSRS'. There will also be a mobile app this year with a full agenda and searchable database for all your conference needs. Please check back early August for more details.

Will there be babysitting services provided at MHSRS?

What is the closest printer to the conference?

The FedEx Office is centrally located across from the "Jump for Joy' dolphin fountain in the Convention Center. Shipping, faxing, parcel services, copying, and office equipment rentals are right at hand. Open every day, 0700-1900.

Presenters

How do I submit my poster or oral presentation to MHSRS?

All presenters (poster and oral) will receive a letter with directions and links to upload their presentations. I am presenting a poster or session at MHSRS. Do I have to pay?

All presenters must register and pay the published rates. A one-day option is available if you are not participating in anything other than your presentation.
